Carolina Manrique was born in 1974 in Colombia.

She is an architect since October 1999, when she graduated on a 5-year course in the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. She obtained a Master in Building Technology from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. Afterwards she worked in project auditing and architectural design in rehabilitation projects of healthcare and sport facilities. She also worked for 4.5 years as a professor in building technology at the school of Architecture in the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia.

She enrolled the SAHC Master Course during the 2009/2010 academic year. Since 2010 she has worked in architectural design and is at present responsible of the construction auditing in a Public Sport Facility complex in Bogota DC, Colombia.
