Chi Chiu Lam

Chi Chiu was born in 1972 in Macau, China.

He obtained his BSc and MSc degree of Civil Engineering from the University of Macau, China.

Chi Chiu worked in the University of Macau as a lecturer. Chi Chiu enrolled the Advanced Masters in Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Constructions; Erasmus Mundus course during the 2008/2009 academic year (course work finished in the Technical University of Catalonia, Spain, and thesis finished in the University of Padova, Italy). Under the supervision of Prof. M. R. Valluzzi, Chi Chiu finished his thesis which title is “Finite element study of bond-slip behaviour of CFRP and GFRP laminates on brick masonry” with a final grade of “A”.

After finished the course, Chi Chiu returned to Macau and worked in the University of Macau. Currently, Chi Chiu is working on one project which is related to the conservation of historical structures of Macau within the Structures and Applied Mechanics Research Group of University of Macau.
