Dustin Häßler was born in 1986 in Germany.

He is a Civil Engineer since October 2008, when he graduated on a 3-year course at the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU Cottbus) in Germany. Right after his graduation, he continued his study with a 2-year Master Course at the same University. After one year, he made a-year study abroad by enrolling in the SAHC Masters Course during the academic year 2009/2010.

In July 2010, he finished the SAHC Masters Course with honours. He holds a double Master Degree on Structural Analysis from the Czech Technical University in Prague and the University of Minho.

In September 2010, he returned to Germany to continue his study at the BTU Cottbus and will finish his third Master in Structural Engineering in June 2011. Furthermore, since 2008 until today, he has been working part-time in a Civil Engineering office and gaining additional practical experiences.
