S.Mircan Kaya was born in 1963 in Turkey.

She is a civil engineer holding a master degree in engineering. After her graduation she worked on international projects as project engineer, project leader and project manager. She had trainings in Turkey, France and Italy on advanced construction and seismic technologies. She is acting as the exclusive reprsentative of a world leading company FIP INDUSTRIALE S.p.A in Turkey. She has been coordinating several vital projects in Turkey (i.e Rehabilitation of the Bridges and Viaducts in Istanbul, design – production and supply of seismic protection devices for the bridges and viaducts of high speed railways in Turkey). She is also gicing seminars at univeristies and Istanbul Chamber of Civil Engineers.
