My journey through SAHC was a pivotal turning point in how I approached built heritage. Coming into the program with prior field experience, I already had a foundation, but SAHC transformed that experience into sharp technical clarity. Learning alongside international faculty and peers, combined with rigorous theory, practical work, and site visits in Portugal and Italy, like observing active monitoring systems at the Scaliger Tombs and the Verona Amphitheatre, refined my structural intuition, helping me look beyond basic mechanics to understand the deeper behaviour of historic buildings.

Currently freelancing as a structural conservation engineer in Bengaluru, India, I work on structural assessments, conservation budgeting, and Heritage Impact Assessments. Ultimately, SAHC gave me the technical confidence and clear sense of direction to meaningfully contribute to preserving built heritage.
