Carol Kung graduated from the Civil Engineering program at Carleton University in 2012, and began her professional career in the Canadian federal government, in Heritage Conservation Services shortly afterwards. Subsequently, she saw significant exposure to various heritage structures across Canada, sparking a newfound and genuine interest in historic monuments.

As formal education on historic structures was limited in her undergraduate studies, her time in the SAHC program provided her with invaluable knowledge on various topics required to work in the field of conservation.

Currently, she is continuing her career at Heritage Conservation Services, and is actively and consistently applying principles and knowledge imparted to her through the SAHC program.
