SAHC is everything but your typical Masters program. You will learn more than just the value of historic structures and how to properly care for them. Rather, you will find yourself looking over at the beautiful mountains of Penha, as you stand outside performing NDTs on limestone lab specimens. SAHC immerses you in a cultural sea where you will befriend students from all over the world with different structural perspectives and backgrounds.
The year I devoted to SAHC has been life-changing, as it redefined my values, my personality, and my perspectives. I am now living out my dreams working as a structural preservation engineer in the heart of America’s historic New England region. Every day, I continue to feed the motivational spark that SAHC ignited inside of me to be the best preservationist with international tools and views at the tip of my fingers.
